There was a meeting held by the Village of Colonie Sign Review Board on April 25, 2019 at
Village Hall, 2 Thunder Road, Albany, NY 12205. The meeting started at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order with a salute to the flag.

Minutes from the March 28, 2019 meeting were reviewed by the present members of the
board. Ms. Trifiletti a motion to approve the minutes. Mr. Levy seconded the motion.
Unanimous vote in favor to approve the minutes as amended from the March 28, 2019
meeting.

Ms. Emma Van Vorst from AJ Signs came before the Sign Review Board seeking approval for a
224 square foot illuminated wall sign for Hobby Lobby at 38 Wolf Road. Acting Chairman
Michalski offered an apology on behalf of the Sign Review Board for insisting the applicant
measure the current “Toys R Us” sign. Acting Chairman Michalski stated that should have been
something the board should have done their own research on, not the applicant.

Ms. Van Vorst stated they are requesting one illuminated wall sign with a translucent orange
film.

Mr. Levy made a motion to approve the wall sign as the applicant has submitted at 224 square
feet and 54 inches. Ms. Trifiletti seconded the motion.

      Mr. Michalski – Abstain
      Ms. Trifiletti – Yes
      Ms. Pochily – Yes
      Ms. Dickinson – Yes

The application is approved.

Ms. Dickinson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:50. Ms. Pochily seconded the
motion.
