VIA-ZOOM Mayor Sim opened the meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees at 6:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: Mayor Sim Present Trustee Lockart Present Trustee Murphy Present Trustee Tobin Present Clerk Blot Present Minutes of the regularly scheduled board meeting that was held on April 20, 2020 were reviewed by the present members of the board. A motion was made by Trustee Lockart to approve the minutes, as presented. Motion seconded by Trustee Murphy. VOTE: Trustee Lockart Yes Trustee Murphy Yes Trustee Tobin Yes Mayor Sim Yes Motion passed. Minutes approved. Clerk Blot read aloud Resolution #2019-58 “Refund request for Sharon Drive Park rental”. A motion was made by Trustee Murphy to approve Resolution #2019-58, as presented. Motion seconded by Trustee Lockart. Clerk Blot read aloud Resolution #2019-59 “Authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Hart Alarm for the 2020-2021 monitoring and notification agreement”. A motion was made by Trustee Tobin to approve Resolution #2019-59, as presented. Motion seconded by Trustee Murphy. Clerk Blot read aloud a letter from 33 Broderick Street regarding a request for a reduction of the April 2020 water bill. Clerk Blot read aloud a recommendation letter from Superintendent Decker advising against a reduction. A motion was made by Trustee Murphy to accept the Superintendents recommendation and not approve a reduction. Motion seconded by Trustee Tobin. The Clerk mentioned the April 2020 fire department report has been received and all board members have a copy of said report in their mailboxes. Mayor Sim gave a status update regarding COVID-19, Coronavirus. He also mentioned that the update will be posted on our website and facebook. Items mentioned, we have postponed Family Fun Day, and the Governor has rescheduled the Village election to September 15, 2020, more information to follow. He also mentioned that the Governor released a 4 phase plan, and a lot will be determined on the number allowed for public gatherings. Abstract # 22 breakdown: General: $ 19,303.55 Water: $ 1,280.20 Sewer: $ 114,863.89 Total: $ 135,447.64 A motion was made by Trustee Tobin to adjourn the meeting. Motion seconded by Trustee Murphy.
