Mayor Tobin opened the meeting at 10:00 a.m. with the pledge of allegiance. Curran Present Minutes of the regularly scheduled Board meeting that was held on February 6th, 2023, were reviewed by the present members of the board. A motion was made by Trustee Rubino to approve the minutes. This motion was seconded by Mayor Tobin. Vote: Trustee Lockart Yes Trustee Rubino Yes Trustee White Absent Deputy Mayor Sim Absent Mayor Tobin Yes Motion passed. Minutes of the public hearing that was held on February 13th, 2023, were reviewed by the present members of the board. A motion was made by Trustee Lockart to approve the minutes. This motion was seconded by Trustee Rubino. Vote: Trustee Lockart Yes Trustee Rubino Yes Trustee White Absent Deputy Mayor Sim Absent Mayor Tobin Yes Motion passed. A motion was made by Trustee Rubino to approve Local Law “To make changes to Chapter 234 “Water” if the Village of Colonie code and to change the Village water rate and minimum consumption”. This motion was seconded by Trustee Lockart. Vote: Trustee Lockart Yes Trustee Rubino Yes Trustee White Absent Deputy Mayor Sim Absent Mayor Tobin Yes Motion passed. Mayor Tobin mentioned that all of the concerts for the Tuesdays in the Parks have been scheduled, and they are planning to hold the Carnival this year. Clerk Blot stated that tonight, the 21st, is Grievance Night from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m in Village Hall. The meeting would be held in the Trustee Room while the Planning Commission meets in the large meeting area. Code Enforcement Officer Meservey informed the Mayor and Board of Trustees that his department has been looking into an issue on Tanglewood Road, and a discussion was held. Additionally, Trustee Rubino asked if the former hotel located at 1579 Central Avenue has been sold yet, to which Officer Meservey replied no, but Albany County is planning on selling it soon.
