TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Colonie Sign Review Board will hold a public hearing at the
Public Operations Center, 347 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, in the Town of Colonie, on the.
7" day of July 2026, at 6:00 p.m., to hear the appeal of AJ Sign Company (Mabey’s Self Storage)
from the decision of the Building Department Director for the Town of Colonie denying the applicant
a sign permit for the premises located at 344 New Karner Road. The proposed construction of a
67.48-square-foot wall sign with a height of 35 feet exceeds the maximum allowed height of 20 feet
(per formula C) as stated in the Town of Colonie Land Use Law, Article XV, Signs and Billboards,
Section 190-83(A)(10), and 190 Attachment #5 — Table of Permitted Signs. The public may present

7th day of July 2026, at 6:00 p.m., to hear the appeal of Sign & Lighting Services LLC (Five

Continued from the May 27, 2026 Planning Board meeting. The Brenn-Breit
Estates Final Plat was approved by the Planning Board on July 24, 2002. The
current owner of Tax ID# 27.00-1-43.19, a 1.23 acre parcel in the R40 District,
was identified on the final plat with a note that states "Not an Approved Building
Lot. If purchased, lot must be consolidated with existing parcel of adjacent
owner." The current owner is requesting to remove the note and allow a
single-family home to be constructed on the lot.

515 Loudon Road. The proposed synthetic turf athletic field, 750-seat grandstand with a 420-square-foot press
box and a separate 2,880-square-foot support building for restrooms and concessions and associated
improvements located within the front yard of a Single Family Residential (SFR) zoning district with a front yard
setback of 421 feet is not compliant with the prohibition of structures in a front yard as stated in the Town of

associated improvements, as proposed, does not demonstrate compliance with the requirements and standards for
recreational fields as stated in the Town of Colonie Land Use Law, Section 190-22(M)(10). The Zoning Board of
Appeals will hear the request for variance from the provisions of the Code of the Town of Colonie, Chapter 190,

3. Consider approving an amendment of the Town's 2026 budget to
appropriate $14,634.21 in the McKownville Lighting District's fund
balance (SL1909) and transfer that amount to the District's Equipment &
Capital Outlay line (SL15182.2) for replacing the underground lighting
infrastructure on Westlyn Court, as requested by the Highway
Superintendent.

Resolutions
Resolution No. 214 authorizing the Supervisor to enter into an agreement with
Santore’s World Famous Fireworks, LLC in connection with the fireworks
display on August 15, 2026 in the amount of $8,000.
Resolution No. 215 authorizing the Town Historian to submit the “Powder
House” building located in the Mohawk River Town Park to the National
Register of Historic Places.

authority to the City of Albany for the proposed expansion of a parking area which will
add 110 new parking spaces within the Town of Colonie. The site is zoned Commercial

TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Colonie Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at the Public
Operations Center, 347 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, in the Town of Colonie, on the 20 day of May 2026, at
7:00 p.m., to hear the appeal of Shir Ahmad from the decision of the Building Department Director for the Town
of Colonie denying the applicant a Building Permit for the premises located at 46 Shepard Avenue. The proposed
subdivision of a 16,339+-square-foot lot into two 8,169+-square-foot lots with 71.66-foot front lot lines and
71.66-foot lot width at the front setback line for the future construction of a single-family dwelling on each lot
with a 25-foot front yard setback is not compliant with the 18,000-square-foot minimum lot size, 80-foot
minimum front lot line, 80-foot minimum lot width at the front setback line, and the 40-foot minimum front yard
setback required in a Single Family Residential (SFR) zoning district as stated in the Town of Colonie Land Use
Law, Article VI, Sections 190-24, 190-25, and 190 Attachment #2 — Dimensional Table. The Zoning Board of
