Walk-a-Thon a Sucess!
Save the Pine Bush’s First Annual Walk-A-Thon was a wild success! The weather was perfect for a 10K stroll through the Pine Bush, cool, not too hot, with sunshine. Many hikers could not believe that hike organizer Tim Kostoroski found 10K (six miles) of trails in the western part of the Pine Bush, but he did! The Pine Bush was spectacular that day, with leaves turned to many shades, and, of course, the beautiful sand dunes, pitch pines and other plants and animals. SPB raised over $1000. Thank you to all of our hikers!
