On May 15, 1996, the Zoning Committee of the Common Council of the
City of Albany voted to recommend the Common Council approve the
13-acre Charlie Touhey office park development located in front on
the Dunes, off Washington Ave. Ext. Only Zoning Chair, Carol Wallace,
abstained.
The Common Council vote is expected on June 3 for the Final
Environmental Impact Statement and on June 17 for the re-zoning of
this parcel from residential to commercial Pine Bush.
Call your your alderman and ask that they vote no on these
approvals.
