Council Member Richard Conti Declares his
Opposition to Drumlin Fields

Ms. Rezsin Adams
112 Chestnut Street
Albany, NY 12210

Dear Rezsin:

Thank you for taking the time to let me know of your opposition to Drumlin Fields, a proposal to re-zone a portion of the Pine Bush for commercial office development.

As you know, this proposal did not come before the Common Council for a vote on January 21. The sponsor has since indicated that he plans to delay further action until a study of the combined traffic impact of this proposal, and other pending proposals, has been completed.

Regardless of the results of that study, I am opposed to this project since its approval would represent a rejection of the implementation guidelines for the Albany Fine Bush Commission’s Protection Plan.

Therefore, if and when this project comes before the Common Council for consideration, I plan to vote no.

Sincerely,

Richard S. Conti

Council Member – – 6th Ward
