Butterfly Station

Butterfly Station is a community center for ecological restoration that it is staffed by students. Students lead guided tours, raise and maintain the gardens and butterfly populations. Students manage the interactive museum and gift shop.

Butterfly Station is open to the public. Visitors come to see the many species of native butterflies flying inside and outside of the butterfly house. They can stroll through the native, butterfly and community gardens. They may watch students working in both the plant and butterfly nurseries. Guided tours conducted by students will both educate and entertain. An interactive museum, hands on craft room, and small gift shop will also be available.

This year our program is brought to the community through grants and funding from: Learn and Serve America (major fund source), PTA, fund raising, and the Guilderland CS.

Please stop by and visit us this summer.
